“We live in a time when our lives are changing rapidly and we have to face new challenges for the transformation of our cities and municipalities. Smart governance, smart cities, smart policies must become commonplace and focus on local needs. But they must be human-centered. We are moving forward with useful practices that will make the lives of citizens easier, that is the bet. We design our cities with the help of technology to be more functional for the citizens. The challenges are many. Civil protection and its clever redesign are at the heart of our efforts. Her important need was evident in the recent natural disasters and even now, in the period of the pandemic. Urbanization and climate change need to be tackled with innovations that we can achieve through technology. E-mobility, with green energy, is among our goals for a better quality of life. Greece is entering a digital era of transformation of our state and cities. We have ideas, we have a road ahead of us, we have the will and we always have in our minds that through collaborations only the parties that cooperate benefit “.
