The Municipality of Egaleo, organized the 3rd training cycle of civil protection executives in the framework of the European Research Program “RESPOND-A”. The aim of the project is the development of upgraded tools and communication devices for the “First Responders”, ie for the group of people in immediate intervention, in emergencies of natural and man-made disasters. This team will have access, through the equipment, to real-time data sources, in order to conduct a risk analysis and draw up plans for dealing with natural disasters. All the innovative products that will be developed in the framework of  this European research project will enable the “First Responders” to work together in a safer and more efficient way, increasing the safety and effectiveness of the intervention to deal with the natural disaster.
