The Municipality of Ilion has proceeded with a decentralized innovative cleaning program. According to the Mayor of Ilion, Mr Nikos Zenetos, the competent municipal services have delimited   thirty-two different sectors throughout the municipality.In each sector, there is a street cleaner going through every street and common area, on a daily basis, offering services.  As part of the special program “Hercules team”, the Municipality has procured electric tricycles for scooters, having a special area where the tools used by the street cleaner are placed, so that the intervention is immediate.The “Hercules team” has a special provision to deal with, even the extraordinary absences of the staff. The Municipality of Ilion aims at the equipment with scooters of all the key areas within its services, so that the result produced is immediate and based on green energy.
